About the Project:

The basic objective of AgBioResources project is to provide a single window access to resources available on internet related to Agricultural Biotechnology. Primarily aimed at the students, teachers & researchers, the website contains comprehensive information about the available resources like - type of the resource, accessibility, etc. The website also features a mail list & discussion forum, so that the users can interact with each other easily. Also a provision has been made to submit relevant URLs, which will be added to the resources list. With active participation from the users, AgBioResources.com, would like to become one of the most relevant resource guides on the net.

The website is developed by Mr. Srinath.D, as a part of project entitled "Development of Resource website on Agricultural Biotechnology with Intra-site Search engine", A thesis submitted in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the degree of Master of Philosophy in Biotechnology, Bharathidasan University, 2003. The Project carried out under the able guidance of Dr. Nayeem Ullah Khan, Professor of Botany, Department of post-graduate studies in Botany, St. Joseph’s College P.G. Centre, 46, Langford Road, Shantinagar, Bangalore - 560 027, India.
